The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has introduced the new RR Form in February 2024 as the prescribed document for the collection of member information for the purpose of re-registration of EPF members. Introduction of the new RR Form aims to facilitate a simpler, more efficient and standardized method of collecting member information for re-registration purposes.

Accordingly, it is hereby informed that the previously used RR-6 Form will be discontinued with effect from 1st April 2026. Any RR-6 forms submitted on or after this date will not be accepted and will be returned to the respective employer.

All employers are kindly requested to take note of the above and ensure the use of the new RR Form for all re-registration submissions with effect from 1st April 2026.
